The study of the gender value of the degree of asthenic syndrome according to the test "SAM" in patients with multiple sclerosis

Intraduction: In recent years there has been a significant increase in the number of patients with psychosomatic pathology. More often depressive and anxious depressive steels are often observed in patients with multiple sclerosis
Objective: To study the gender value of the degree of asthenic syndrome in the "SAM" test in patients with multiple sclerosis.
Aims and methods: To study the degree of asthenic syndrome in patients with MS, a study was conducted in 35 patients,13 (55%) women,12 (50%) men,aged from 22 to 46 years.And it was also subdivided according to age categories: from 22-30, 32-35 and 35 or more. The "SAM" test was used to determine the asthenic syndrome.
Results: To study was conducted in 35 patients with MS, 13 (55%) women, 12 (50%) men, prevalence from 22 to 46 years. At the same time, the results on sex and age differences were singled out. The "S" the state of health in 23 patients (65%) of them 15 men (65%), women 8 (35%) was worsened and averaged 32.6 points for men, 36.4 points for women (in the normal amount points should be 50 points or more) - the patients noted symptoms like weakness, rapid fatigue, lethargy, weakness.The activity level "A" in 28 (80%) patients, men 17 (61%), women 11 (39%) was reduced and averaged 31.3 points in men-35.1 points in women (in Norm the sum of points should be 55 points or more) - lack of mobility, inactivity and indifference in the events around, slowness, fatigue was revealed.The "M" was in the mood for 32 (91%) of the male patients 19 (60%), for women 13 (40%) with PC was lowered and averaged 37 points in men, in women 32 points should be 54 points or more).Patients with MS in the 22-30 age group "S" at 36, the score, "A"33p.s., the "M"was 40.In the age group 31-35 years, "C" at 30p., "A"35p.s.,"M"31p.s.In the age group of 35 years and older, "C" -sensitivity was estimated at 38p.s, "A"was 36 points, "H" - the mood was 49 points.
Conclusions: 1. Summing up, it can be argued that in patients of a younger age they have disorders in the psychoemotional sphere, asthenia of the autonomic nervous system of varying degrees.2. Women in comparison with men proved to be more resistant to different stressful and conflict situations, their asthenia was less pronounced than in men. Patients in the age groups of 22-30 years had marked abnormalities than patients in the age group of 31-35 and 35 and over 7.
